The Astronomy Association of the High School attached to Tsinghua University successfully held an outing observation activity during Qingming Festival

From April 4 to 5, the Astronomy Association of Tsinghua High School held an outing observation activity in Shitang Road, Miyun. More than 30 students from grade 5 participated in the activity under the leadership of two teachers, Mo Zhenwei and Fang Peng。During the activity, we visually observed the Galactic Arch bridge and the spring starry sky, and conducted astrophotography in an orderly manner, harvesting an unforgettable observation experience and many wonderful photography works。

At 18:30 on April 4th, the teachers and students left for Shanxia Inn, Shitang Road, Miyun by bus。After a short rest, the students set up equipment on the lawn and began to observe freely。Despite the thin clouds that night, everyone was still excited, and under the guidance of the backbone members of the community, they successively identified the Big Dipper, the spring Triangle, the spring diamond and other starry spots, and observed various deep sky objects with the 80ED astronomical telescope in the society。

After midnight, the wind rose, the stars became clearer, many students were lucky to observe the meteor across the night sky, and the focus of spring observation - the Milky Way arch bridge has gradually risen, photography enthusiasts have used the camera in their hands to record its vastness and beauty。

With the dawn of the morning, the stars gradually disappeared, and the observation activity is coming to an end. After breakfast, everyone starts to return to school。
